You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information to use VitePay, unless a specific service lawfully permits otherwise.

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.

You must immediately notify us if you suspect that your account has been compromised or used without your permission.

VitePay may require identity verification, including BVN, NIN, government-issued identification or other verification information.

Your verification level may determine which features and transaction limits are available to you. We may restrict access to certain services if required verification cannot be completed.

VitePay allows eligible users to send and receive money and access other payment services.

You are responsible for confirming the recipient, amount and transaction details before authorizing a transaction. Transactions may not always be reversible once completed.

Where a transaction involves a bank or other payment provider, that provider's applicable terms and procedures may also apply.

VitePay may allow you to pay bills and purchase airtime or data.

You are responsible for providing the correct customer, account, meter, phone or subscription details before confirming a payment.

VitePay allows users to request money from people within their Circle. A request may include an amount, reason and expected repayment date.

The person receiving the request independently decides whether to approve or reject it.

Where a Circle arrangement constitutes a regulated financial or lending activity, the applicable laws and requirements will apply.

VitePay may provide trust-related indicators based on relevant platform activity, such as transaction and repayment history.

These indicators are provided for informational purposes only and do not guarantee that another user will repay money or complete a transaction.

Some VitePay services may have fees or transaction limits. Applicable charges and limits will be displayed or communicated where required before a transaction is completed.

Limits may vary depending on your KYC level, transaction history, security controls, regulatory requirements and our financial partners.

Transactions may fail because of network problems, banking or payment-provider issues, incorrect information, insufficient funds or other circumstances.

Where applicable, failed or reversed transactions will be handled in accordance with our procedures and those of the relevant financial institution or payment provider.

You must not use VitePay for:

We may suspend or restrict your account where we suspect fraud, unlawful activity, security risks, inaccurate information, violation of these Terms, or where required by law or a financial partner.

You may also request to close your account. Outstanding transactions, disputes or legal and regulatory obligations may need to be resolved before account closure is completed.

Some VitePay services are provided through banks, payment providers, KYC providers, bill-payment providers and other third parties. Their terms may apply to the services they provide.

Your use of VitePay is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process your personal information.

We aim to keep VitePay available and reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, network failures, banking or payment-provider downtime, security measures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may update these Terms when necessary. Where significant changes are made, we may notify you through the VitePay app, website or email.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to applicable consumer and regulatory protections.
